About this home

The BNSF Railway intermodal project in process will be the largest intermodal project in the world, bringing +/- 20,000 new jobs that are expected to generate a high demand for housing. Two Indian tribes are seeking approvals for proposed casinos at the I-15/Lenwood Road intersection/home to The Outlets at Barstow, that would each bring +/- 1,000 construction jobs and 1,000 permanent jobs that would stimulate extensive retail development in that area, therefore an additional need for housing. The property consists of two adjacent level parcels zoned medium density, adjacent to one of Barstow's nicest apartment projects. Sewer/water/utilities are in Rimrock Road, fully improved with street/curb/gutter. Rimrock Road is the major east/west road south of Interstate 15, with four lanes and turning lanes. The property is near Super Walmart on Montara Road Barstow Community College. Easy access to both Interstate 15 and Highway 40. Less than 5 minutes to Main Street/downtown - note that Barstow has the longest Main Street on Route 66 in the entire United States and attracts thousands of tourists a year.
